My son is 6 and very interested in fishing. Even tho neither of us had experience with fly fishing we had a great experience on a guided trip to the Crooked River. Our guide Adam was amazing with my son and, with his help, caught his first (and second and third) fish. A truly great day out on the river. Would strongly recommend for those who want to try fly fishing with their kids but have no experience.

I recently had 2 guided fly fishing trips separated by a week, first with Josh and then George. Both were amazing! The trip with Josh caught the largest brown trout I ever have, and with George I equaled my largest rainbow trout ever caught. Plus those 2 guys are great people to be around for the day and never stop trying to get you the best fishing experience possible.

My husband and I were visiting our daughter and boyfriend in Bend and did a half day trip with Fly and Field Outfitters. Wyatt was our guide and did a terrific job taking care of four novice anglers. We had a great day!

Had a blast going fishing for a half day. I have been wanting to get into fly fishing and already knew some things about the basics on how to cast, but there is so much more that goes into it. The guide was great and taught me everything I needed to know and now I feel like I could actually fly fish by myself. It was a great learning experience. My guide was patient with me and gave me Lots of good feedback. It was a bonus that we caught fish!

Ok if you are a new flyfisherman you need to check this place out. They are super friendly. The answered all my questions and even gave me specific locations to visit. I definitely will be back to this place and recommend anyone interested in this hoby to check them out.

I cannot submit a higher recommendation for Fly & Field guide services, namely Thad. Had a rockin' day long trip on the Lower Deschutes, catching a couple steelies and several bows. He knows the hot spots and is also a good teacher. I've done a lot of fly fishing but can always improve and he's a good coach. Even though it was 50 degrees and raining most of the time it was a blast. Be sure to ask him about his stories guiding some interesting and well know public and well known figures.
