A few times a year we get the crew together and hit the water. We recently had our Spring Shakedown trip on the Lower Deschutes. Get the dust off the camp gear, try new gear, see what works and what doesn’t, hang with the crew, and see if we can’t catch a few fish along the way.  Take a look at some of the photos from our 3-day camp trip on the Lower Deschutes.

Breakfast with Rubin is top notch!

Dean couldn’t keep the fish off!

A wonderful whitefish filled memory between father and son.

Guide John Earls taking the boss man and Dean down the river. This guy knows how to send this rapid!

Eddy just happy to be out there. Sunshine, fish, scotch, cigars, the boys… what else do you need?

George- the life of the party.

Rubin running camp downstream. If you get a chance to have Rubin in camp… count yourself lucky!

Scott Cook- FULL CHILL.

Freeland was just having the time of his life. Next time you see him in the shop, give him a high 5. We are happy he is around!

Rubin…Rubin…Rubin… this guy has it dialed.

Unbeatable bananas foster. Yes, we had bananas on the river.

Breakfast Burritos get you to the river quicker!

Dean just being a stud.

John sending one back.

Glenn- one of the most fun dudes in the crew to fish with.

Mitchell couldn’t keep em’ off either!

Bighorns on a ridge at last light.

Ospreys flying around the whole time!

There was absolutely no horsin’ around going on down there.

The trout were happy to see us too. They definitely missed out on the bananas foster.

Full moon on the river capped with some bananas foster sure led for a great 3 day trip on the Lower Deschutes!
