As many of you know, we are rather fond of taking a few days off at the beginning and the end of the season to “shakedown” the camp, the gear, and the crew. Most years, we find ourselves floating the three day stretch on the Lower Deschutes, but sometimes, we get to do a little exploring with the team. For our Fall Trip this year, we decided to head to Southern Oregon to spend a little time on the Rogue River. Fortunately, we were given some insider information on where to fish from our good friend, Chris. We headed out for a quick 3 day trip to the Rogue, and what a trip it was! This might have been the most relaxed trip we have had, due to an awesome house, great food, and cold beer! Not to mention that we were blessed with incredible weather throughout the whole weekend. We spent the first day floating and fishing hard, bringing a few hatchery steelheads to the boats. Day 2- we just hung out at the house! Fished “Camp” water and sat around bs-ing with one another. It is nice to get the crew together to hang out for a bit and spend some time on a new fishery, prepping meals, and watching Formula 1 racing. We also were able to catch the Ducks game, which Dave was thankful for. Take a look at some of the images from the weekend we had on the Rogue, not as many as usual but at least we have some! Thank you to everyone that allowed us to close the shop for a few days and spend this much needed time on the water together!

We ran into our good buddy Chris right off the bat! Did a nice party float with Chris, Brie, and a few other local Bend guys, Brian, Mike, and Josh. It was great to see some familiar faces away from home!! Here is Chris and Mike doing their thing!
