The Metolius has been fishing well. Nymphing has been the hottest method and a variety of small euro style tungsten nymphs have been doing the job. As far as dry fly activity, on some days you may see golden stones, PMD’s, and a variety of caddis. For targeting bull trout, large streamers are effective, as are flashy nymphs. The MEtolius is a beautiful place to spend a summer day so get out there and get after some fish!
