East and Paulina Lake have both been fishing well. Leeches, two-bits, and chironomids all picked up fish. Stripping larger brown baitfish patterns to imitate tui chubs is a good way to target larger class brown and rainbow trout at east. Wickiup sounds like it may be starting to pick up a bit as we have heard some better reports as of late, fish coming on leeches and small mayfly nymphs. Davis is fishing fair on streamers for bass. Both Twin Lakes have been fishing well on leeches and chironomids. Hosmer is accessible and fishing fair on leeches and chironomids as well, watch for callibaetis to start soon. No reports from Lava yet. Callibaetis will start to become more and more prevalent over the coming weeks so stocking up on a good selection of nymphs and dries is a good idea.
