The Fall river has been fishing well. Good numbers of fish mean they are spread throughout the river from the headwaters to the confluence with the Deschutes. Nymphing will be the best tactic for picking up fish. Zebra midges, eggs, psycho princes, two-bits and jimmy legs have all been effective. Swinging streamers around some of the downed timber and undercut banks is a good way to try and fool some larger more aggressive fish. It's never a bad idea to use a chubby or other large foam fly rather than an indicator when nymphing. Euro and indicator methods are both effective on the fall.
