When the fish are in, the fishing is on! We have been fortunate enough to have a decent amount of quality fish in the Fall River over the last few weeks. The PMD hatch has been decent as well, coming off around 11 am and lasting for an hour or so. The fish are eating dry flies at this time! Fishing purple haze (sz 16/20), parachute adams (sz16-20), and PMD emergers (sz 16-20) can be effective.
If you are nymphing, fish with red two-bit hookers (sz 18/20), black two-bit hookers (sz 18/20), pheasant tails (sz 16/18), red/black/purple zebra midges (sz 16-20), and purple jujubaetis (sz 18).
