Joe was taught to fly fish about the time he learned to walk, and it’s been his passion ever since. Joe was the kid who, on the family “camping” or “rafting” trip, would disappear for hours on end every day, usually returning to camp after dark with a rod in his hand and smile on his face. And that’s the case to this day. From an evening on the Fall River to a five-day backpacking trip up the Minam River, Joe is happiest with a fly rod in his hand, poised to fool a trout. Joe’s philosophy is that everybody has things in their life that gets their blood pumping like nothing else, and for him, that’s fly fishing. He considers himself a fortunate young man to have lived in Central Oregon his entire life as it offers endless waters to explore and fish.
