Irrigation was turned off and the Crooked River is now at 72cfs. This will be the flow going into winter. Bwo’s are taking place over the last remaining Pmd’s. Look to fish the warmest part of the day and keep an eye out for overcast. The Blue Wing Olive’s are smaller in the size 18 to 20 range. The Extended Body and Parachute Bwo are great patterns. Don’t forget the Purple Haze either. Nymphing midges are still producing. Now that the water is lower, finding the deeper channels will be crucial. Get out there and enjoy!
