The word on the water is Lava Lakes are the place to be. Big lava has been fishing great for some of the holdover fish that have been cruising the rocks on the east side of the lake. Throwing buggers along the shore can result in good success. Here at Fly and Field we have an awesome assortment of buggers to use and try. Callibaetis is not too far off on the Lava lakes. There has already been a few flying around. The callibaetis nymph either thrown individually on an intermediate sinking line or used as a dropper behind a bugger is worth the effort to try too. Little Lava lake should be a similar story too.
